Our retreats focus on high-quality training, recovery, and practical learning in exceptional mountain environments.
You can expect guided mountain runs, challenging hill sessions, dedicated runner’s strength, yoga for recovery, and practical training talks grounded in science and experience. Every session is optional and adapted to your level, so you’ll always feel supported!
Athletes are guided through the principles behind endurance performance, from physiology and pacing to recovery and decision-making, creating clarity that deepens both the training experience and long-term progress.
Evenings are spent in community sharing stories, playing games, and connecting over a shared love of the mountains. Our retreats are designed to be compatible with remote work, so you can train, stay productive, and enjoy beautiful landscapes without stepping out of your life.
These retreats are for runners who want to train consistently, prepare for key races, or spend focused time running in beautiful mountain terrain. Whether you’re building fitness or refining race preparation, you’ll leave with renewed clarity, structure, and momentum. You’ll get practical coaching feedback you can apply immediately to your training. And you’ll do it alongside a small group of like-minded runners who value purposeful work and time in the mountains.
Join us for a week of structured training in the beautiful village of Greyton and the surrounding Riviersonderend Mountains. Whether you’re building toward a goal race or simply want to explore one of the Western Cape’s most scenic trail networks, we’ve designed a week just for you.
Across the week you can expect a mix of easy guided runs, a dedicated hill session, strength work, and yoga for recovery, all arranged to be compatible with remote working. Over the weekend, we’ll head out for two back-to-back long runs through the Riviersonderend trails (distances tailored to your fitness level and training goals).
In the evenings, expect relaxed braais, an open training-science talk and discussion, fiercely competitive board games, and plenty of time to connect with fellow mountain lovers. Enquire for bookings!
